The Alley Way Stamps April Release Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! It's another fantastic new release blog hop for The Alley Way Stamps! You can see all of the great new stamp sets from The Alley Way Stamps and be inspired by our fantastic design team! There are also prizes up for grabs too!

For the hop today, I am showing off the fun little mini set Bee Happy!! There are so many great images and words in this set that will coordinate with so many of the TAWS stamps! Plus, this set is yours free for the month of April with a $40 purchase! 

I haven't had enough of the mini bee image from last month's release so I combined it with the new Bee Happy set and made some adorable baby gift tags! Perfect for  baby shower and new baby gifts! 

For the girly tag, I stamped all of the hexagon images in shades of pink and layered the solid and heart outline images over those. Even the bee is pink with some sparkly glitter!

On the boy tag, I stamped just the large solid hexagon and then more of those cute hearts! This time, a blue bee with sparkles! The 'sweet' on both tags is from another new release this month- Bee Sweet!

TAWS Sneak Peek Day #3

Hi everyone! It's time again for a new release at The Alley Way Stamps! This month Alison has created some of the cutest sets so be sure and check out sneak peeks 1 and 2 over at the blog!

I am giving you a sneak of a new background set Star of the Show! He he, it's really not a peek since I used all of the stamps in the set! I just love all of the different sizes of stars- so many possibilities for backgrounds, borders and mixing and matching!

I have a graduation coming up and what better way to say Congratulations than stars?! I layered all of the sizes and embossed the center strip in sparkly silver to match this awesome sentiment!  Lots of glitter, silver card stock and gems really add to the sparkle!

For the inside I added in another sentiment from an older set, Jibber Jabber and added one of the smaller stars from the set! Beautiful card for a beautiful graduate!

Be Inspired Challenge #51

Hi everyone! A new Be Inspired Challenge is on at The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge Blog! There have been some changes to the challenge and now you have an entire month to play along and get crafty! Visit the blog for all of the details!

The inspiration photo this month is bright and cheery with lots of polka dots!

I love to create with polka dots! It is impossible to create something that is not happy with polka dots and red and white is such a great color combo! I used lots of polka dots for my card- even the little bird image has a polka dotted wing! I added a strip of polka dotted washi tape and even created the flowers out of the same tape. Just adhere your tape to card stock and then die cut- super easy! 

The bottom layer of the flowers are also polka dotted using the new Spotted stamps! Oh my gosh I have said polka dots so many times now it's starting to sound weird! 

The inside has, (yes I said it again), more polka dots!  Polka dotted washi tape and another polka dotted flower! Just had to say it a few more times! I can add in a sentiment later or just write a sweet little note!

Arts and Crafts!

Hi everyone! There are many a day when my fingers are stained with paint and markers and I am covered in glitter! Oh the bliss! And if you aren't like that, I'm sure you know someone who is!

So I could not resist creating a card perfect for a 'crafty' person filled with paint splatters, 'messy' twine and distressed edges! All in happy colors along with a fun sentiment! 

The paint splatter images are from the 'True Colors' stamp set and the sentiment is from a new set 'Small Talk'. Both sets are from The Alley Way Stamps and the 'Small Talk' set is yours free this month with a $40 purchase!

The inside of the card features more of the fabulous paint splatters and lots of room to write a message to your 'crafty' friend! You know they would love a card like this (along with more supplies or better yet, a gift card to their favorite craft store!)

Happy Bird-day!

Hi everyone! Birds are certainly a sign of Spring so I crafted a sweet birthday card featuring the adorable peacock from the new set Birds of a Feather from The Alley Way Stamps!

This little guy was a blast to put together! The feathers are a separate image so you can add as many feathers as your little heart desires!  I popped this cutie off a polka dotted background that also features gorgeous papers from My Mind's Eye and a fancy cutting plate from Taylored Expressions! The happy sentiment is also from the Birds of  Feather set!

The inside shows one separate feather along with another fun sentiment and those darling polka dots from the set!

Hello Spring!

Hi everyone! Happy Spring to you! May you start seeing some green and pops of color after all of this cold weather we have been having!

The Timeless Twine Design Team has been tasked this month with Spring projects and I could not resist a pot full of flowers to get into the Spring mood! So much fun to create these colorful beauties out of Timeless Twine. I even gave them twine stems and a twine flowerpot too!

Everything is layered on bright sunny patterned paper along with a sweet sentiment embossed on vellum. I sprinkled on some sequins for a little more shine!

A quick shot of the inside which might look plain now but I will fill this up with a nice note to someone special!
