Happy Kid!
Hi everyone! I am seriously in love with these new 'happy kids' from the Simple Stories 'Say Cheese 4' collection! They are just so darn cute and they come in Bits & Pieces, stickers and stamps!
The little guy featured on this card is one of the new clear stamps from the collection. I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored him in with Copic markers. The balloon he's holding is actually a Mickey Mouse one so I paper pieced some of the 6x6 paper from the same collection over the image. I then masked the whole image and blended red ink over it and then added in yellow and black paint splats along with a few white gel pen accents before cutting it into a tag.
The sentiment is also from a new stamp set in the collection and it has coordinating dies! I cut the 'happy day' out five times from light blue card stock and stamped just the top layer also in Memento Tuxedo Black. I mounted the tag and them sentiment onto more of the 6x6 patterned paper and added in cheery red and white twine along with some bright yellow enamel dots! Super cute!

Enjoy Today!
Hi everyone! Spring as upon us! I say this as there is a snowstorm brewing outside this very minute..but I am very hopeful that warmer weathers around the corner and with it, birds and blooms!
The new Simple Stories 'Spring Farmhouse' collection also has clear stamps and dies and I am loving all of them! There are so many adorable images to choose from, like this spray of flowers, sweet bird and tiny tag!
The background of the card is wood patterned paper from the Simple Stories 'Sn@p basis pack'. I wanted to add some color and texture to the background and accomplished both by splattering acrylic paint onto the wood background before layering on some delicate die-cut scrolls and leaves.
All of the images were stamped in black and the floral spray and birdie were colored with Copic markers. I cut out the tag and then added simple twine to the top before popping everything up with foam adhesive and adding to the background! I tucked in a few matching 'Spring Farmhouse' enamel dots as well!

Imagine And Dream!
Simple Stories has a whole new line of clear stamps and stencils and they are phenomenal! I am especially fond of the 'Say Cheese 4' collection. It is so adorable and fun and bright.... and the list could go on and on!
Since 'Say Cheese' is all about Disney, I took the large mouse ear stencil and showcased that on two cards. The shape is filled with all of the words about Disney and I thought they would look amazing if they were filled in with all of the collection colors! I used a variety of inks, masked off the areas I didn't want colored in and began filling in the areas. I used 4 different ink colors and it took a while but the effort was definitely worth it!
The first card is bright and busy with lots of papers, Bits & Pieces, stickers and chipboard layered together. I used foam tape to lift different parts of the card front for lots of dimension and gave the mouse ear stencil a bit of shine with a pearlized spray. Behind the lifted areas I tucked in chipboard and puffy stickers!
The second card is a bit simpler but still bright and fun! I used the same technique for stenciling and also stenciled the background with clear glitter and another new Simple Stories stencil of large polka dots! I love how the dots give off a gold sheen against the red background! I added in one piece of patterned paper along with a large die-cut word that was stacked together for thickness. A few puffy stickers are the finishing touch!

Flowers And Feathers!
I inked the background with a stencil and ink and then stamped and die cut my two colored feathers. The third feather is just die cut from cream card stock and layered with the others along with the tiny blooms!
I added in a bit more of the challenge green color with polka dots and stamped the sentiment in a darker mauve. For shine, I topped off a few areas with glitter! A soft and pretty card with a sweet sentiment!

Cheers To 29!
Hi everyone! Birthday cards are always a joy to make and this one was especially fun as it was for my beautiful daughter! What better way to end the last year of her twenties than with a beautiful birthday card!
I used some of her favorite colors for this card and incorporated lots of layers. The pretty Reverse Confetti blooms look so lovely paired with the bold Concord & 9th numbers. For even more boldness, I added in a few accents of black with ink and sequins.
The vellum die cut leaves add a bit of softness to the bold colors and there is even a tiny detail on the inside of the card!

Bloom!
Hi everyone! Even though the calendar says it's Spring it's still pretty cold here in Colorado and there is a lot of snow still on the ground. I'm ready for some sunshine and warmer weather so I am really digging the color scheme of this week's Color Throwdown #535!
I kept my card clean and simple and brought in the red and white buffalo checks with a die cut that has been backed in cheery red. The sweet plants, as well ad the sentiment, are part of the new Simple Stories 'Spring Farmhouse' clear stamp set and I love them!
The plants were stamped in black and then simply colored with Copic markers. I layered a few frames together with the sentiment tag and added in a few red enamel dots! Super cute and easy!

Soul Shine Mandala!
Hi everyone! I had originally made two cards for the latest Color Throwdown challenge but in the end, only used one. So I got a bonus blog post with this other card!
Keeping with the green hue, I stamped the sentiment in a complimentary color and also added in a couple tiny green gems alongside some bronze sequins. I added in a bit more of shine with some Glossy Accents in and around the image. The card base is a simple kraft to let the mandala image really shine!

Rainbows And Candy!
Hi everyone! My favorite sweet is chocolate but there is something about these adorable candy stamps from Stampin' Up that make me think of rainbows. I could not resist coloring them in bright and fun colors and adding in rainbow hued accents.
The first card is a trio of apothecary jars that I filled with a variety of sweets. I made the jars the focus of the card by not adding in too much background but gave it fun details in the scalloped edge and tiny rainbow colored gems. I layered in more colors with striped papers along the edge and under the sentiment as well as the inside of the card.
More charming jars on this card over a rainbow lined background. I also added in rainbow paint spatters before layering on the die cut jars filled with solid colored candies! I added in some solid colored accents to the background and under the sentiment.
The last is a vivid colored tag perfect for adorning a bag full of treats! The solid white tag is embossed in glittery polka dots and topped with a smaller dotted tag. The rainbow dotted patterned paper is the perfect background for the sentiment and there is a scattering of bright colored candies over the tag.

Great Places!
Hi everyone! I have a colorful inky card to share today for the Color Throwdown #532 challenge! I was inspired by the gorgeous sky in the inspiration photo and chose to create a blended ink background with the challenge colors!
After blending my background of three colors, I layered on two whimsical houses that had been stamped in the kraft challenge color and then embossed in clear. I water colored in the images with the same distress inks along with a few clouds. I tucked a few sparkly sequins and stamped the sentiment in bold black!
