Hi everyone! Happy Friday! Succulents are all the rage right now and for good reason! They are beautiful and oh so easy to keep alive! I have a succulent garden in my kitchen window and it's not just easy, it's downright out of control! I will have to start cutting on it soon or it will just take over the whole window!
The Potted stamp set from Waffle Flower is one of two they have showcasing these beautiful plants. This set has been on my desk staring at me, waiting patiently for me to use it and yesterday I finally had the chance. It did not disappoint! This arrangement was such fun to color that I had to do it twice!
Both images were heat embossed in gold and the first card I colored in with Copic markers. I used my succulent garden as a guide to the variety of colors besides all of those gorgeous greens. I gave the arrangement a terra cotta pot and added in a few gold accents as well! I didn't have this sentiment in a stamp so I used my MAC to shape it and print it.
For the second card I did a bit of watercoloring using my distress markers and a water brush. More variety of colors here so the greens wouldn't all look the same! I just love the softness and muted colors of watercolors- I definitely need to do this more often! More gold accents along with hemp cord too!
I even added in a few water droplets with Glossy Accents! It's a soft touch with great texture!
Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!!
