Fall Doodle-Do!

Hi everyone! Even though it's Fall, I still love to stamp with my floral sets and the Doodlie-Do set from Papertrey Ink is a favorite!

I wanted the lovely flower images in the set to mimic a larger flower once they were stamped. I used Fall colored inks and kept the stamping to one side of the card stock. The leaf image and the polka dots were added to round out the finished product and one gem was added to the center for a little shine!

To keep the stamped 'flower' as the focal point, I didn't want to stamp a sentiment near it so I simply added a tiny tag to the card with some pretty gossamer ribbon.  I cut a strip of designer paper and deckled the edge before adding it to the side of the card for a bit of elegance.

Toot Toot Beep Beep!

Hi everyone! Today I have some simply put together cards that are still super cute! Nothing too fancy- just stamps, paper, ribbon and a few embellishments.

I adore this scooter from Paper Smooches! I think it's every girls dream to own one of these and doodle around in style. This one is the less expensive option! 

The first card features a watercolor segment against a cloud filled background. The Copic colored scooter was divided into sections for some interest and layered on top. A little Wink of Stella and sequins add some shine!

Since one card was done in pastels I decided to do the next in bright, Fall colors! I changed the orientation of the card and divided the image on this one too. A paper and ribbon background accents the colors of this card along with some red stars!

Shiny Chevrons!

Hi everyone! I bought some new products from My Favorite Things a while back and I couldn't wait to use them! One of the new items was this fabulous chevron cover-up die that I thought would look beautiful against a blended background.

I pulled out some Fall colored Distress Inks and began blending them onto card stock. Once that was complete, I flicked water over the surface for the droplet effect and then covered the entire surface in a water/gold perfect pearl mixture for extra shine!

'Happy' was cut from a die and doubled up for thickness  out of shiny black card stock. I added a tiny label sentiment below that and some pretty little sequins for color!
