Fall Flower Wreath!

Hi everyone! One of my favorite things about Fall are the gorgeous colors. Here in Colorado, our Falls are usually beautiful and it has been so mild this year that I still have flowers blooming! I couldn't help but be inspired to create this pretty Fall flower wreath!

The images were die-cut from some watercolor panels that I had left over from an earlier project and then stamped with brown, berry, yellow and coral inks. I mixed in extra leaves from white card stock for a bit of brightness and then layered everything onto some cheery yellow paper!

I stamped the sentiment onto a fishtail banner and then scored and folded it so it popped out a bit. I think gold goes so well with these warm Autumn hues so I sprinkled some gold sequins around too!

Be Wild & Free!

Hi everyone! I have been trying to take part in the DailyMarker.com 30 day coloring challenge and today I have a note card set featuring some Autumn hued watercolors and a fab stamp set from Waffle Flower!

The 'Wild and Free' stamp set caught my eye a few weeks a go and I instantly ordered it! I love these graphic, playful images and the scripty font! I knew I wanted to stamp these images in black to make them really stand out!

I chose some bright distress inks and painted a few pieces of watercolor paper before cutting out the squares. I stamped the images onto the watercolor paper and layered that over more of the pretty images also stamped in black.

I added in a few details on each note card, trying to use most of the images in the set since I love them all!

I thought gold would be pretty to accent all of the black so I added in gold paint splatters and then some shiny black sequins too!

I will definitely be using this stamp set some more and will try it in color!

Fall In A Box!

Hi everyone! I love Fall! It is one of my favorite seasons and has just the cutest crafting supplies to create with! Case in point, this sweet pop-up card box full of adorable Fall images!

I needed a longer box area so I followed a tutorial on SplitcoastStampers to modify it from a regular square pop-up box. This gave me more room to tuck in more of these charming My Favorite Things 'Fall Friends' cuties! I colored them first with Copic markers and combined them with some Jillibean Soup 'Mushroom Medley' die cuts for a rich, layered look.

The Fall themed paper is from the Echo Park and is on all of the inside and outside sides. I added in more stamped die-cuts along with the Jillibean Soup pieces  for extra cuteness! I couldn't pass up adding in some Autumn hued candy dots here and there too!

Celebrate With Cake!

Hi everyone! Happy November! The end of October always brings Halloween of course, but our family has another big celebration and that is the birthday of our sweet, wonderful daughter! She is not a little girl anymore and has great sophisticated taste so I always try to create a card as gorgeous as she is!

The base of the card is a watercolor panel that has been blended with a beautiful combination of distress inks. She loves coral so I included 'Abandoned Coral' in the mix along with an orange and a yellow. She also loves gold, so before mounting the base onto the gold background, I spritzed it with a Perfect Pearl and water mix for a gorgeous shine!

I also ink blended the cake and went back in with a paintbrush and added darker shades of the colors plus a bit of gold paint for sparkle. I triple mounted it onto gold and black die cuts so it would really stand out and then added pretty gold stars and shiny black sequins! A beautiful card for a beautiful girl that we are so lucky to have in our lives!
