Mini Christmas Albums!

Hi everyone! More minis to share with you today and these are super duper easy to create! They may be small but they are so gorgeous and will be perfect as those last minute Christmas or Hostess gifts!

I created three using this great tutorial by my fellow Twine-ista, Cassandra. I used the 6x6 paper collections of 'Tis the Season' by Echo Park and 'Hello December' by Glitz Design. Had I not ran out of paper, I would have happily still been creating these!

The cover of the Echo Park paper collection mini. I simply dressed it up a bit by adding a few borders, a glittery flourish and a miniature wreath. Some sweet chipboard accents finish it off!

A Glitz Design 'Hello December' mini album. I die cut a scallop circle from the front and lined it with a wreath from the coordinating what-nots pieces and then added some more of those to the cover. This one is tied with a festive green bow!

Another 'Hello December' album with a beautiful deer on the cover. I added some stickers from the collection and even a fussy cut Cardinal from a 12x12 piece of the paper collection.

I didn't show them, but all of the pages inside these minis are decked out with more stickers, what-nots and pretty embellishments! You have to make one of these little albums- they are so easy and so adorable!

Baby Mini 2!

Hi everyone! This is the second mini baby book I created for my friend that had twin girls in September. The first one can be found here if you would like to take a look. Of course, since she was having girls, I knew I had to make one of the mini's all pink and here it is.

I used Echo Parks' 'Bundle of Joy' 6x6 papers along with the coordinating Element Stickers. Such an adorable, girly collection and perfect for this mini. I added a tiny frame to the cover for the baby's name along with some sweet flower cabochons, a doily and a cuddly bear! Lots of pink ribbon too!

The Elements Sticker sheet has some of the sweetest sentiments and I used a couple on this page along with soft felt flowers and hearts!

 I could not resist including  this charming little clothesline!

 A tiny felt envelope on this page to hold those precious momentos.

 Beautiful rolled roses and paper lace adorn this picture frame!

More endearing stickers and sentiments adorn this page that can hold two photos. Such sweet background paper too!

Another lovable teddy bear and a cute pink elephant combined with a scalloped frame and a tulle bow - too cute!

 This page features a looped flower and an adorable onesie.

Lastly, a big oval frame for that perfect girly picture and a big pink bow to go along with it!

Awash in Tulle....

 

Hi Everyone! I've been away for a short bit from my blog but I have been working very hard...well, diligently.  My craft space has been covered in tulle! I got the bright idea to make myself some tulle trees for Christmas and so for the past few days I have been sewing and gathering and sewing and gathering....... As you will see from the pictures, there is A LOT of tulle on these trees but oh so worth it. These are just as soft and beautiful and romantic as I hoped they would be.

 

 

This is the first tree and the tallest. Of course it had to be in my favorite color of red! Since it is the tallest, I gave it a big glittery star topper along with shiny silver and white balls.

 

 

This is actually the first tree I completed. I found the directions on Pinterest and after sewing all of the ruffles and assembling them, I realized I wanted narrower, tighter trees. However, this tree is gorgeously full and beautiful. I covered this one in lots of silver ornaments, tiny silver snowflakes and gave it a bright silver bow topper.

 

 

The green tree received a trimming of glittery white balls and sweet sparkly candy canes which look adorable with all of those luscious layers of green tulle.  Another sparkly bow on top makes it even prettier.

 

 

Here are all of the trees proudly on display in my entryway. These trees are certainly easy to create, they just take a lot of time and patience. All worth it in the end. Now I have some more beautiful Christmas decorations and my children will be so proud of me and all of the Christmas trees in our house this year :)

Hello December!

Hi everyone! Winter has definitely arrived in Colorado and all I have to say is yuck! Now we generally get a fair amount of snow here but we almost always have sunny days and warm temps but, man oh man, has it been frigid here.  Apparently the whole country is in a freeze and I cannot wait 'til it warms up again!

To cheer myself up, I thought I would get crafty and create some more Christmas goodies with my Glitz Design 'Hello December' paper collection. I love the rustic, vintage feel of this collection and I thought it would go great paired with kraft.

This card features a collage of the 'Hello December' 6x6 papers and stickers from the Titles and Accents sticker sheet. There is a bit of a stamped image peeking out from the coordinating stamp set. I simply added some holly leaves, ribbon, pearls and some shiny sequins along with a bit of sewing to complete this cutie!

The inside features another strip of the graphic paper and another stamp from the 'Hello December' stamp set. So many great images- check them out!

Another collage card featuring some pieces I cut from the 6x6 paper pad along with more of the bright and fun stickers. I added some bronze gems and some twisted twine! Too cute!

I kept the inside simple, adding yet another beautiful stamped image and more of the fabulous stickers!

And, just because I could have kept on crafting (I mean, who needs dinner?) I created this pretty little tag too! The pinecones were stamped first then cut out. They too are part of the fabulous stamp collection along with the pine boughs in the background! I added a bit of distress glitter, some more gorgeous Glitz paper, gold accents and a big gingham bow. I love the sticker sentiment on this tag- perfect for a bottle of something good to drink!

Some more exciting news to share! I will be a Twine-ista in the coming year! Yay, I am always honored to be part of another fabulous design team and  I love embellishments and containers and all those goodies... so I can't wait! 2014 is shaping up to be a great year!
