The Alley Way Stamps March Release Blog Hop!

The big day is finally here! You can see all of the great new stamp sets from The Alley Way Stamps and be inspired by our fantastic design team! There are also prizes up for grabs too!

I am showing off the adorable and versatile new mini set, Speak Easy, with it's cute speech bubble sentiments! I created a card using all of these fab speech bubbles as the background in pretty pastel colors! So fun fitting them all together! I also added a vellum tag so you can still see the images behind it. The sequin filled photo frame is stamped with another new set, Spotted and the tiny birds are from the new set, Birds Of A Feather! Such a sweet card!

On the inside, I used another fabulous speech bubble from the Spell Check stamp set and added a few more shiny sequins!

TAWS Sneak Peek Day 1!

Hi everyone! It's Sneak Peek time at The Alley Way Stamps and we have got a great release this month! I am doing a sneak peek of the adorable set, Got It Covered! This is such a great set on it's own but it is also the perfect companion set to the fabulous Cover Ups set. I had a wonderful time creating with this set and created a sweet trio of mini cards!

Each mini card is 3"x3" and features great little backgrounds from the set! For this cutie, I stamped and then paper pieced the adorable sailboat on a background of clouds and added in a fitting sentiment from the set.

The star background is done in a bright combo of yellow and blue! I stamped and layered the Super Star and added some smaller die cut stars and another cute sentiment!

This little bear card is too cute! Love the background of hearts and polka dots. This little guy and his wagon are paper pieced too. Love the simple yet charming sentiment!

These cards are being entered into the Runway Inspired Challenge #54

Puppy Love!

Hi everyone! I love dogs. I especially love my dogs and when I saw the sweet sentiments from The Alley Way Stamps new stamp set, Speak Easy, I knew they were perfect for a mini doggie album! 

On the cover are the stars of the album: Bella, Django and Glenn (in order from top to bottom). Glenn is my sons dog and the brother to Django but he comes to our house just about every day and is loved as much as the others and so of course he had to be included. Sadly, before I completed this mini, we lost the oldest dog, Bella, to cancer so this is a tribute to one of my very best friends in the whole world!

I started with a Jillibean Soup kraft accordion album that had been in my stash for quite a while and added papers from Papertrey Ink and Stampin' Up in one of my favorite color combos of red and black.  I put in some of my favorite pictures taken over the years and added some adorable doggie embellishments and lots of hearts to show my affection for these furry friends. 

These sweethearts definitely make me smile, and laugh and giggle everyday! 

You have to admit, these sentiments are pretty perfect for the nicest 'people' in your life!

We will never forget our sweet girl, best dog ever, Bella!

So much love and so much fun! 

Aren't dogs the greatest! They love you no matter what and these have certainly filled my life with so much happiness!

First comes love….

Hello there! Valentine's Day is full of love and flowers and sweet gifts and for a lucky few…..an engagement ring! If you have a special person in your life that got engaged on Valentine's Day,  here is some inspiration for a momentous occasion!

I started with a white pillow box from Bella Creationz and fancied it up with pretty lace stamps, elegant washi tape and of course, beautiful Timeless Twine! A coordinating tag also has the same embellishments plus a sweet heart sticker, a vintage button and some gorgeous pearls. An elegant and charming gift for the excited bride to be!

Fun Congratulations!

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday to you! You know, as Spring arrives, graduations will be right around the corner and it's never too early to start working on those congratulations cards! I have a super fun one to share today!

I used some of the smiling face images from The Alley Way Stamps 'Face It' set and combined them with some cute word bubble images from 'Spell Check' for a bright and happy way to express congrats! I added in some bright patterned paper from the Simple Stories 'Summer Fresh' paper pack and some brightly colored candy dots from Basic Grey and My Mind's Eye!

On the inside, another happy face and a simple message! I used the back side of one of the 'Spell Check' word bubbles for the solid image and then stamped over that with the congrats image from 'Jibber Jabber'. This card is perfect for a new grad or anyone else celebrating a milestone!

These colors match the Diane von Furstenberg colors in the Runway Inspired Challenge #54 so I am entering this card!

Face It!

Hi everyone! A card full of personality today! I am showcasing the adorable face images from the new stamp set 'Face It' from The Alley Way Stamps so you can see all of these images at once! This is a nice, big card to show off all of the personality in these images. There's happy, sad, surprised, cute and even some angry. Every face in this set reminds me of someone in my life! What a perfect set to personalize projects! 

I die cut lots of 1 inch squares and then stamped them with the face images in a variety of turquoise inks. The images were then stacked on colored and patterned card stock and all were put on the front of the card. I added a very fitting sentiment from another new set, Speak Easy! 

The inside has another great sentiment from the Speak Easy set and one more smiling face! Be sure and visit The Alley Way Stamps blog to see what the other designers have crafted!

Birthday Pinwheels!

Hi everyone! It's Friday and time for another Be Inspired Challenge from The Alley Way Stamps! The beautiful Inspiration picture is full of pink gift boxes with pretty pinwheel bows and those are what inspired my card today!

My niece will be having a birthday very soon and pinwheels are perfect for her birthday card. I cut squares of card stock and stamped them with Bitty Borders in different shades of gray before I folded them into the charming pinwheel shape. There is a sweet little bow border in the background that I added a bit of color and glitter to. Each pinwheel received a button and pearl center and I added a sprinkling of sequins for a little more sparkle.

One more darling pinwheel on the inside of the card and a simple sentiment for a birthday wish!
