All Treats, No Tricks!

Hi everyone! One last Halloween project to share featuring the fabulous paper and embellishment collection 'Something Wicked' from My Mind's Eye! Normally I can't make this many things from one paper collection and supplies but I am telling you there was so much cute stuff in all of the packages I went a bit crazy! Just had to create a few treat bags for all of the little goblins in my life!

I used the gorgeous papers from the collection to make these adorable 6 inch bags and then adorned each with fun stickers and ephemera pieces along with the chipboard and flair! The finishing touches were the sparkly puffy stickers and the enamel shapes! All of the ribbon is attached to tiny binder clips for extra decoration!

This bag features a few pieces from the ephemera mixed bag atop a fishtail flag. Love all of the sparkle!

I cut a doily for this bat sticker and topped it off with ribbon and a flair button. A few more stickers and a paper border finish the bottom of the bag!

Such quirky skulls for the background here along with a sticker and more fun ephemera pieces! The cute enamel pumpkins add just the right touch!

This bag is all about the sparkles! The glitter stripes are topped with a chipboard cat in a hat, a sweet tag and some small details!

May you all have a safe and happy Halloween! Here's hoping you get all of the treats you desire!

Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!!

Monthly Mini: October

Hi everyone! This months mini is, of course, all about Halloween! After creating my Halloween wreath, I had lots of adorable paper, ephemera and embellishments left over to create a few more holiday projects. The fun and quirky 'Something Wicked' paper and accessories from My Mind's Eye was perfect for a spooky mini scrapbook!

This mini album is only about 4.5" by 4.5" and is full of different shaped pages that were cut with dies or created with pieces from the ephemera pack. I used the gorgeous Halloween papers as background and then layered them with the ephemera, chipboard elements, stickers and flair. Here are the front sides of the pages. So fun!

And the back sides of the pages... I created picture pages by using black photo corners to hold all of the fun Halloween photos.  Bits of ribbon and some twine were added in too!

A few close-ups of some of my favorite pages!

A glittery journaling spot.

Spooky chipboard combined with a fabulous label sticker.

I just love how this scary kitty sparkles!

Some fun layering on this page with fishtail flags, ephemera and stickers!

That's it for my newest monthly mini! Check back on Friday for my one last Halloween project created with this fun paper collection!

Hannah's Flowers!

Hi everyone! Fall is here with its' gorgeous hues of deep colors! There are still some pretty flowers out there and I was inspired by my daughter to create this sweet Fall bouquet!

I started with the adorable Paper Smooches 'Best Buds' set and colored in the blooms and jar with Copic Markers. I added in some Autumn toned designer paper from the Basic Grey 'Hipster' and"What's Up' paper pads for some interesting layers.

The 'celebrate' sentiment is embossed in glittery copper and popped off the jar. More copper glitter is added with the sparkly gems. So Sweet!

The inside is simple- just waiting for a nice message! A couple of fishtail flags of the designer paper along with a few more sparkly gems and this card is ready to go! Thanks to my beautiful daughter!

'Something Wicked' Wreath!

Hi everyone! Halloween is such a fun holiday to create and decorate for and amazing paper lines like  'Something Wicked' from My Mind's Eye, make holiday crafting even more interesting! When I saw all of the super creepy and amusing chipboard and ephemera pieces in the collection, I knew they would look awesome layered together for a spooky home decor project!

I started with a round wooden floral craft ring from Michaels and covered it with the gorgeous card stock in the collection. I also added in some yellow crepe paper for interesting dimension and a little bit of color difference. Then....lots and lots of layering pieces from the collection! I should have had a bigger craft ring to start with so I could use everything!

Now to show some of the close ups of all these amazing pieces! Beautiful black glittery pieces in the ephemera pack really add shine! The eyeball is actually a piece of flair attached to a paper medallion!

Another fancy frame layered together with a spooky piece of the ephemera. Plus I added a tiny banner flag cut from the card stock.

Spooky elements combined with some of the vintage quirky ones make for such an interesting wreath!

More fun images layered together over more of the designer paper! I also added in  one of the sparkly enamel dots!

Hehe, this picture cracks me up- just love her orange specs! The glitter sticker is also puffy! Be still my heart!

Thanks for checking out all of the pictures of my Halloween wreath! It will go great with all of my other decorations and will add such a charming touch!

Be Yourself Watercolor Card

Hi everyone! Watercoloring techniques are so in right now. I really enjoy creating watercolors with paints and brushes but sometimes the easiest way is to just smoosh all of the colors together for fabulous results!

I love bright colors and distress inks are a great way to get the watercolor feel with more vibrant tones. I mixed  pinks and yellows together for this card and then added in dimension with  heavier inked polka dots and texture with die cut arrows and stars. The must-have sparkle comes from scattered black gems and a bit of metallic thread along the edge.  I added in a matching black sentiment and  then stacked all of my pieces asymmetrically.

The inside features more asymmetric papers along with a big sentiment that is so sweet. A few more watercolored stars and gems add the final touch!

I am entering this card into the Simon Says Monday Challenge:Wonderful Watercolor!
