The Alley Way Stamps May Release Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Today is the big day where you can see all of the new releases from The Alley Way Stamps! We are having a fabulous blog hop to show off all of the new stamps and one lucky reader will win the entire release!

My card today showcases the new mini set that is available free with a qualifying purchase, Baby on Board! This might be a mini set but it is packed with so many adorable images and words! I chose the largest of the stamps and created a decked out and frilly new baby girl card with lots of layers. The small bow on the baby's head is one of the darling tiny stamps included with this set! I went for a vintage feel and inked all of the edges with distress ink and added a tiny tag with footprints and hearts from another new set, Nap Time!

The inside features the pretty negative from the flourish die cut on the front and sweet words from yet another new set, Baby Talk.

TAWS May Sneak Peek Day #3

Hi everyone! It's my favorite time of the month! Yep, a new release from The Alley Way Stamps is here and there are some adorable new sets that will be available on May 1st! Be sure and check out the other sneak peeks on the TAWS blog! Plus, leave a comment on the TAWS blog today and you could win today's sneak peek set

I am doing a sneak peek of a fab new set of graphic images called Tri-Me! When I saw these triangle images I immediately thought…banner! This was so much fun to create - the hard part was deciding which patterns to use! I mixed and matched the triangle images along with some of the smaller stamps in the set and added a fun little sentiment that is also included!

Clean and simple on the inside with more of the interesting border shapes and another fun sentiment paired with one big triangle image! Too cute!

Tomorrow is the big blog hop for the May release of The Alley Way Stamps! All of the designers will be showing off terrific creations using all of the new images and one lucky reader will win all three new stamp sets!

Be Inspired Challenge #52!

Hello everyone! It's time again for another Be Inspired Challenge brought to you by The Alley Way Stamps! Remember, we changed the challenge a bit so now you have a whole month to get crafty! Plus, you can win a fabulous prize from TAWS AND join us as a guest designer for a future BIC!

The inspiration photo below is very soft and subtle and I was drawn to the teensy bits of green in the picture as well as the blowing seeds.

I kept the yellows and greens soft and embossed over the flower images with glitter. After the stamping was complete, I also dry embossed a pretty swirl background before adding larger flakes of glitter for the blowing seeds. I was concerned they wouldn't show well in the photo but you can definitely see them!

The inside is clean and simple with a reversed yellow background and the flowers stamped in green. I also embossed them in glitter for a bit of sparkle!

Bee A Friend!

Hi everyone! I hope it's finally Spring where you are! Here in Colorado, we are still getting snow but there is lots of sunshine in between the storms and there are signs of Spring popping up! I have a card today inspired by the coming warmer weather!

I am showcasing the sentiment stamp set, Bee Sweet, from The Alley Way Stamps! There are so many great words in this set to combine and use on their own or with the cute bee images from Bee Unique or the adorable little bee from Got It Covered! I used the little bee and stamped a flower from Petal Pushers. I added a stamped and layered tag with the sentiment and finally some washi tape and some enamel dots. I love the tiny splashes of the lime green on this card!

I kept it simple on the inside with another flower outline and a sweet sentiment from the Got It Covered set!

Happy Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone! I love sequins! I love that they can be so tiny yet add so much to a project! They make me happy and inspire me to create happy things and this birthday tag is one of them!

I knew I wanted to create a tag with a tiny vellum envelope shaker full of shiny sequins. Then I just had to add in more happy elements! I stamped the bright pink banner flag with a confetti background and added a sweet birthday candle. Next was a brightly embossed birthday sentiment on a fabulous frame! A tiny twine tassel topped off with a bright sequin and more cheery twine at the top are the finishing touches!

Starry Congrats!

Hi everyone! It's getting very close to graduation season so I thought I would share a recent grad card I created!

I used the brand new Star of the Show clear stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps! Stars are a perfect way to say congratulations and I just adore the sentiment that is included in the set! I curved the sentiment on my acrylic block before stamping so it would fit in this circle. I added lots of extra die-cut stars, cutting some of them out of the background! A few tiny gems add just a bit a sparkle so this would work for a guy or gal!

More stars on the inside and a big congrats sentiment! I also added the smaller 'you made it' from separate images in the Bitty Borders set.
