Monthly Mini: November

Hi everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday with your loved ones and survived Black Friday if you ventured out! I stayed home in the warmth and did some shopping at my desk- the best way if you ask me!

The end of the month always means a new mini scrapbook to share and since Thanksgiving is over, I am breaking out with the Christmas and featuring a December Daily! I have never made a December Daily but have always loved the idea. In fact, this mini was created with Teresa Collins 'Christmas Home' and 'Christmas Cottage' papers, embellishments and accessories from 2012! I admit I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to paper- there is just always something new and pretty to buy! This gorgeous collection got lost in the shuffle but I'm so glad I re-discovered it!

The red scrapbook came with the collection and is perfect for a festive December Daily. I dressed up the front with lots of the designer paper,  chipboard pieces and ephemera. I just love the big flower with it's sparkling center! A couple of adorable brads grace the cover along with a bright green bow and tiny glittery gems!

Here are pictures of some of my favorite pages in the book. I also inserted some 6x8 pocket pages for extra holiday photographs and journaling spots and to use up all of the beautiful accessories! This will make a great gift for someone special if I can bear to part with it! Be sure and watch the YouTube video below to see ALL of the pages that I created for this December Daily!

Hope you enjoyed the show! I'm off to create more Christmas paper crafts so please come back and visit!

Thanksgiving Leaves!

Hi everyone! While perusing blog land the other day I came across these beauties from Jennifer McGuire and was so inspired to create my own Thanksgiving table pretties! The original inspiration was place settings but my guests are all family and don't need to be told where to sit so I changed it up and made napkin holders that will dress up my table.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut maple leaves in two different sizes that I then stacked together along with a shiny gold flourish and pretty ribbon. This was the perfect opportunity to use the cherry wood sheets I had in my stash!

I alternated the color combos of each napkin holder and stamped a small tag with a sweet sentiment that was attached with a colored piece of twine. Each tag got one tiny gold sequin as a finishing touch. So pretty!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! May you enjoy time spent with your family and friends and may you be stuffed and happy all day!

Cedar Lane Cards #2

Hi everyone! My final Fall project using the beautiful 'Cedar Lane' paper collection and accessories! Whew! You probably thought I had an endless supply of this collection! I have really been working on not buying so much 'stuff' (i.e. paper and embellishments) and using what I do buy to it's fullest! I think I did a fabulous job with this collection and my bank account and overstuffed craft room are thanking me!

I took the Fall themed paper and embellishments and made some cards that aren't really Fall themed but oh so pretty! I added in some bright colored hemp cord and big gold sequins for accents and now I have more beautiful cards to add to my stash!

I am so glad that chevrons are still so popular and this bright colored paper is perfect for a hello card. The fun arrows add a nice touch too!

Clean and simple with this card that will be great to say 'Congratulations!' I combined a few pieces of the gorgeous card stock along with a pretty fabric tag and added in simple touches of gold with the washi tape strip and sequins!

This card has just a touch of Fall in it with the acorn but it's still versatile. You can barely see it, but the word splendid on the tab is in gold too! There is just a bit of yellow with the flowers and double bow.

Finally, a super pretty and feminine all occasion card done up with interesting layers of the card stock along with some stacked ephemera and some fussy cut accents. Love the bright teal bow!
