Welcome Baby Girl!

Hello everyone.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Today I am sharing the card I made to go along with the baby album I showed last week.  I gave both to my friend and she has sent me a very gracious Thank You note expressing her gratitude for her beautiful gifts.  I love it when people love my creations!

I kept this card pretty simple becuase the album was over the top.  I used the same papers from Theresa Collins and my new 'Baby Onesie' dienamic and stamp set from My favorite Things.  I also added another mini rolled rose also from My Favorite Things.  Some pink cabbage ribbon from Prairie Bird Boutique at Etsy.com and a few gems finished this cute card.

A picture of the inside of the card.  Clean and simple with just a few gems- waiting for my personal message!

Sweet Baby Girl!

Hi all.  As promised, here are pictures of the mini album I created for a friend of mine who is having her first child, a girl, in September.  She is one of my biggest fans so I knew she would love a hand-crafted album.  I enjoyed crafting every single page.  This post is very photo heavy but I wanted to show each and every page with all of the details.  Sit back and enjoy the show!
The cover features a Unity stamp, Melissa Francis mini- frame, Verve butterflies and coordinating dies and My Favorite Things Mini Rolled Roses and Open Scallop Doily Duo dies.
The bird and cage were cut with my Cricut and the tags are MFT Die-namics.  The tiny chipboard hearts are from Stampin Up! and they were painted with acrylic paints.

All of the shapes are cut with MFT Die-namics and the page is embellished with KaiserCraft rub-ons.
More MFT Die-namics and a cute little bunny cut with my Cricut.  The bunny has a liquid applique tail!

The circle doilies and fishtail banners are My Favorite Things as well as the 'Little Princess' stamp.  I cut a whole bunch of flowers from MFT dies, some paper, some tissue paper, scrunched them up and secured them all with a glitzy button from Bazzil.  The little onesie was cut with my cricut.

One of my favorite pages!  The squares and letters are MFT Die-namics, the envelope and tiny tag are Papertry Ink dies and stamps and the stamp is from Technique Tuesday.  The sentiment was typed and printed with my computer and the sweet little hearts are from Verve dies.

Here is a close-up of the small card inside the envelope.

Two more doilies and a darling onesie from My Favorite Things.  The little tags are Papertrey Ink and the rose cabochon is from Stampin Up!  The beautiful bling is Prima.

More letters, leaves and a vine cut with MFT Die-namics.  The rolled roses are handcut.

A close up of the rolled roses.  So pretty!

This is a pocket page holding three tags.  Lots of Verve, Papertrey Ink and MFT dies.  The rosette is from The Cat's pajamas.

Everything on this page was cut with MFT Die-namics dies except for the doily borders ( one is a Martha Stewart border punch and the other is a sticker from Little Yelow Bicycle) and the ribbon roses are from my stash.

This sentiment is not a stamp but should be....
The last page features oval die-cuts and loopy blooms from MFT Die-namics, tiny tag dies and stamps from Papertrey Ink and bling from Pebbles and ZVA Creative.

A close up of the cute 'Tiny Tags'  stamp set and dies from Papertrey Ink.

Hope you enjoyed ALL of the pictures of this album.  My friend loved it and I know it will always be a treasured momento.  So happy that my crafting brings such joy!

Dipped in Delight!

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Today I have a happy little mini card with a 'special' extra touch.

All of the supplies for this card are from Raisin Boat Stamps and this set 'Sweet Treats' is one of my favorites.  I took one of the sentiments and curved it on the acrylic block so it would wrap around this darling candy apple.  I love that clear stamps can be manipulated to fit a card or layout!  This apple was colored with Copic markers and the 'candied' section is covered in Glossy Accents.  Looks yummy enough to eat:)

The special touch here are the shrink plastic charms made from the same stamp set.  I scratched up one side of shrink plastic to  help the Copic color stick and then heated them with my heat gun.  They are perfect miniture versions of the stamps and are so stinkin' cute.  I played and played with the shrink plastic to see all of the cute charms I could make.  A tip for everyone, I tried to shrink in the oven also but found that the pieces shrunk faster and were easier to work with when I used my heat gun.  Below are the Raisin Boat supplies used to make this card.

Birthday Pinwheels!

Hi everyone!  Sorry about not posting all last week.  I have been working feverishly to complete a scrapbook I am making for my friend who is having a baby girl in September.  Between that and working I just never have enough time to blog:) I will post pictures of this gorgeous scrapbook next week after the shower!

Todays card is one I made a while ago and just have not posted on my blog.  It's a fun birthday card with cute pinwheels on the front.  Most of the paper is from My Mind's Eye 'Stella and Rose- Gertie Papers'.  The yellow gingham is from my stash and the vellum is Stampin Up! which has been embossed with swiss dots.  The pinwheels are just squares that have been cut and folded - too cute!  The tag was cut with my Cricut and the sentiment is from one of my favorite Stampin Up! sets- 'Define Your Life'.  Hope you enjoy this happy little birthday card!

Raisin Boat Challenge #2!

Hi everyone!  It's time for another Raisin Boat challenge.  This month the challenge was to create a birthday card using Raisin Boat stamps.  I couldn't resist creating another gift set:)

This gift set is very elegant done in all black and white.  I used the Blissful Blossoms stamp set from Raisin Boat stamps.  I only used the poppy and small leaf images but there are other flower images in this set as well.  I glitzed up all of the flower edges with Stickles glitter and then used my Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add in tiny sparkly dots.

The gift bag and Happy Birthday tag were cut with my Cricut and decorated with all of the same elements.  There is also a matching bookmark and a small clear gift box adorned with a wrap-around banner and one poppy. This small gift box is perfect for tiny thoughtful gifts.

Here is a close up of the coordinating card.  This is the first thing I created and then just had to add in the gift bag and all the goodies! All of the supplies used are from Raisin Boat except for the MFT Dienamics scalloped scallop border and a Spellbinders fancy tag.  Here are the raisin Boat supplies used for this gift set.

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge - White on White

Hello everbody!  I have a card today for the Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday challenge.  This week the challenge was to make an all white card with the exception of the image.  Very challenging indeed!

I decided to use the new 'Going Places' stamp set and colored in only a few sections to match the pink ribbon I used.  I pulled out lots of white papers from my stash and used some MFT Die-namics to make the flowers, the scalloped scallops border and the photo corner.  Of course I had to add some bling to this card and the sentiment is also from Kraftin' Kimmie and stamped in a soft pink from Stampin Up!

The inside features the same papers and ribbon and one more flower with a gem.  I found it a bit dificult to photograph all this white and messed around with the photo editing for a while.  I hope the pictures are okay to view!

Greeting Farm challenges!

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July.  I have a cute card today for both The Greeting Farm's Saturday Sketch Challenge and the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge.  It just so happened I could combine them- love when that happens!
This is the sketch for the Saturday Sketch Challenge and the Farm Fresh Friday challenge was to use a button and/or ribbon on your card.  There is a black button on my card; it just happens to be covered by twine (is twine considered ribbon? lol) and one single gem.

I had so much fun coloring CC Monday.  She tries to look tough but is such a sweetie!  She was colored with Copic markers and I used a Sakura 'Clear Star' Gelly Roll pen to color in the stripes of her shirt.  I also covered my colored image and then spritzed it with 'Graphite' Glimmer Mist and still somehow ended up with a spot on her face.  Oh well, we'll call it a beauty mark!  The papers are all from my stash and the flowers are MFT Die-namics 'Pretty Posies'.  This cute little sentiment is also from The Greeting Farm.

Inside I layered a few MFT Die-namics fishtail flags stax with another small posey.  I used very little bling on this card which is a bit different for me but I like the way it turned out.

Happy 4th!!

Hi everyone.  Happy 4th of July!!  Just a quick post with something I crafted for the Holiday!  This is also for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and I pulled out tons of Red, White and Blue paper scraps to make this cutie of a card.  The stamp set is from Raisin Boat and I used MFT Die-namics for the stars and fishtail banners.  A red and blue twine bow and a little bit of stickles glitter makes for a very festive card!

Hope you all have a happy and safe 4th of July!
