Snowman Buddies!

Hi everyone! A couple of chilly snowmen friends for the first day of Winter- complete with some glittery falling snow!  These adorable snowmen are perfect for the chilly weather we have been having!

I first watercolored a cool blue background with accents of purple before stenciling in some glittery falling snow.  The snowmen were also watercolored in the same shades along with the cheery Cardinals! Before adding in the die-cut snow hills, I embossed them for some fun texture and added in the tracks so they would move freely on the card!

I gave the snowmen some personality with a polka dotted scarf and a sequin topped hat and then added in a super sweet sentiment. A couple more shiny sequins were the final touch! I am wishing you all Happy Holidays ! I will see you after all of the festivities!

Christmas Delivery Mini!

Hi everyone! I have the cutest little scrapbook to share today! I bought this explosion box at Michael's recently and just knew I would create a Christmas mini with it! It looks so great with all of the bright colors and mixed patterns of the Carta Bella 'Christmas Delivery' paper collection!

There are a lot of pages inside the house and once closed it fits together very snugly so I couldn't do a ton of layering. But there was still enough room for cute decorations, frames and light embellishments!

There were so many fun things in this paper collection that it was hard to choose what to put in! Each page measures around three and a half inches- so plenty of room for photos or Christmas mementos!

I made sure to put in room for lots of pictures but some pages just feature cute embellishments! Of course I have to show you some of my favorite pages in the box!

I kept the outside of the house fairly simple by covering the sides with the adorable patterned paper from the collection. I dressed up the front with a couple of cute stickers, a fussy cut gift and the cutest delivery truck!  The roof was gussied up with some scalloped panels adorned with lots of glittery 'snow' and two shiny jingle bells! Such a sweet Christmas house!

Penguin Tags!

Hi everyone! Two cute Christmas tags to share today! I recently got some new stamps from The Cat's Pajamas and could not wait to use these cute penguins on a project. Then the new Color Throwdown Challenge came out  so I decided to combine the two!

Christmas gifts always need cute tags and these sweet little guys are adorable. Plus they look awesome in the bright challenge colors! I embossed both images in black and then colored them in with Copic markers. I added in multi-colored snowflakes on this tag along with some iridescent polka dots.

For the green tag, I switched up the accents- making the snowflakes iridescent and the polk dots multi-colored. I also added in some shine on the sleigh with a bit of Wink of Stella!

Each tag also has a tiny Christmas accent at the top that adds to the cuteness! Bright ribbon and twine are the final touches for these gift toppers! Can't wait to add these to some gifts!
