Focused On Me!

It's a bit daunting to scrap solely about yourself but the new My Story collection from Simple Stories really makes it fun and exciting! The more I worked on this project, the more enthusiastic I became to share my life in such a unique and delightful way!

I picked up on the sentiment 'focusing on me' right away and thought a camera and some snapshots into my life would be perfect! The camera is a cut file from SVGCuts and looks amazing in the gorgeous patterned papers in this collection! I mixed and matched three different papers and also added in some of the charming stickers from the sticker book as accents along with some of the fantastic embellishments!

 

Not only is this camera beautiful but it holds a small mini album too that is all about me and the favorite parts of my life! This collection has so many great prompts and sentiments that make it so easy to write your own story!

I focused on the 5 top things in my life and created this staggered mini that features a different edge on each page so I could really show off all the fabulous papers! I dedicated a page each to my true love and me, my adorable pups, my amazing grandbabies, my happy place, aka craft room, my love of books and reading and finally, my passion for travel!

I feel like anyone could open up this camera box and mini album and get a true glimpse of me and the things that I hold most dear in this world plus it's super cute and will become a treasured memento! Let this wonderful and charming collection inspire you to create something personal and beautiful!

Just One Of The Family!

Is someone in your life getting a new pet? Surprise them with a sweet gift full of things they will need for their new friend! These packages celebrate the smaller, but still so loved, new additions!

The Simple Stories Pet Shoppe collection is perfect for all of those "other" pets that aren't cats and dogs. All You Need Is Love And A Dog!

It's no secret that I love my pups and whenever I get the chance to scrap about them, I jump at it! The new Pet Shoppe collections by Simple Stories are all so fabulous and adorable but of course I gravitated to the Dog collection so I could brag on my pups some more!

I started with a simple dog house cut file that I modified  for my needs and added in some cute details. This dog collection has a bone stencil that is too cute so I used matching ink colors on white card stock and created the dog house doorway! Then I layered on some paws and hearts along with bright enamel dots! A chipboard element and a Bits & Pieces tag were used to create the cute hanging charm for the front.

Everything in this collection is so perfect for dog lovers! There are fun, happy colors, darling sentiments and paws and hearts galore! The pages are made with the charming 3x4 journal cards combined with the sweet patterned papers and embellished with as many of the super cute pieces I could add!

There are three interactive pages too! A couple of pockets and a fold out page that is held in place with a decorative brad! All to hold more pictures of two of my favorite (furry) people LOL!

The Magic Of Winter!

Hi everyone! Tara here with Secretbees Studio. I'm certainly not a fan of Winter, but the new Simple Stories Simple Vintage Winter Woods collection helps me appreciate the beauty of the season! This collection is stunningly beautiful and filled with elegant winter images! To show it off, I created this mixed page mini album that lets you see the fabulous papers and embellishments in one glance!

The wintry cover of the album was created with the coordinating snowflake stencil and some silver glitter paste. I then layered on a gorgeous chipboard cluster from the collection along with a dimensional sticker and tucked in a few iridescent sequins for a snowy feel! Some rolled paper beads are attached with silvery thread for even more sparkle!

The pages of the album showcase a different pretty paper design on each side and are decked out with lots of the dazzling embellishments! This collection offers so many gorgeous ones to choose from! 

On some of the pages I made ready-to-go photo spots with more of the lovely patterned paper in a variety of shapes and all I have to do is add my Winter pictures! There is also a page with a pocket stuffed with embellished journal cards and two with frames that are also ready for photos! 

Some of the pages were already beautiful with just the paper and I only had to add a few charming decorations! 

This brilliant and beautiful collection is a must-have for Winter projects. I hope this lovely mini album inspires you to create a wintry project of your very own!

Deck The Halls!

Hi everyone! It may only be the beginning of November but its not too early to get your December Daily ready! This festive and fun box, filled with rolls of brightly patterned paper along with lots of charming cards full of embellishments, is a new take on memory keeping! 

The box is made from chipboard and is covered in the new Simple Stories Mix & A Mingle paper collection, which is full of dazzling and beautiful colors and the cutest retro Christmas images! All of the card inserts are made with the same collection too! Each day, through Christmas, features a double sided card that is marked with fun number tags from the sticker book! 

For the inserts, I used journal element cards along with some 4x4 and 3x4 element cards and slipped a tag or two in there as well. All of these elements are lovely on their own but I added in additional stickers, chipboard, decorative brads and enamel dots for even more charm! Some of them are even interactive! There are 13 rolls in this December Daily and a total of 25 cards. The decorative cards can be inserted anywhere between the rolls of paper and since they are double sided, this box looks amazing from the front as well as the back!

The box is wrapped in more of the delightful patterned paper with some decorative paper corners. I layered on more of the cute stickers, chipboard and paper elements of the collection as well as some colorful enamel dots to make it even more adorable.  Check out the tutorial video on my YouTube channel to create one of these for yourself!

All The Colors!

Hi everyone! Tara here with some super cute and super colorful party favors made with the amazing Simple Stories Color Vibe Collections! These eye-catching collections are supposed to be 'basics' but they are anything but! There are fabulous chipboard and flower bits as well as buttons and enamel dots to go along with the gorgeous coordinating papers plus colorful alphas in an array of sizes. 

I used a mixture of colors from the Brights, Bolds, Summer and Spring Color Vibe collections to make these adorable jelly bags from SVGCuts.com. The bags were cut from the card stock and double layered for sturdiness. The paper has a solid side as well but I used the polka dotted sides for the inside and out of the bags.

The fun pinwheels were made with colorful stacked triangles and topped with lots of layered flower bits and a button! They are stuffed inside the bag along with a bottle of bubbles that are wrapped with more of the paper and decorated with a fun embellishment that features the flower and chipboard bits along with enamel dots!

The adorable tags are made with two colors of the polka dotted papers and are topped with more flower bits and layers of the chipboard hearts, stars and arrows as well as more bright enamel dots. I used the two sizes of alphas in the alpha sticker book for the tag names. So adorable!

Of course you can mix these beautiful Color Vibe collections with any of the Simple Stories collections for a coordinating pop of color but they look gorgeous on their own and are made extra special with the  fun and fabulous embellishments!
