Merry Poinsettias!

Hi everyone! This is certainly the time of year for Poinsettias and I couldn't be happier! They are such gorgeous flowers and Simon Says Stamp did a wonderful job re-creating them with their new 'Winter Flowers' stamp and die set!

These beauties were first blended with red, pink and green distress inks and then embossed in gold for a bit of holiday shine! I die cut all of the pieces and layered them over a stamped frame. Before adding the sentiment, I felt the inside of the frame needed some visual interest, so I embossed some white card stock for the background.

The hand lettered sentiment is also stamped in red distress ink and topped off with a mixture of red and gold sequins! For another fun detail, I added in some gold pearl pen dots to the center of these beautiful blooms. This merry Christmas card will brighten someones day!

Warm & Fuzzy!

Hi everyone! There is a new challenge up at the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog and since I love Concord & 9th products I just had to join in the fun! This new challenge is right up my alley too- it's all about Sparkle and Shine!

The socks in the 'Cozy Up' stamp set are so adorable and I thought they would look awesome against the woodgrain heart. I used some very sparkly red embossing powder for lots of shine and then die cut  them to layer over the heart.

I took some of the word stamps from 'Happy Words' and combined them with the warm sentiment for a sweet message! The tiny pinecones are super cute so I added a pair of those over the socks and a few bright red sequins for even more sparkle!

Foxy Tag!

Hi everyone! My final Fall crafty project for 2016 and a gift is always a good way to end! I had a gift for a crafty friend that need a little dressing up and I wanted to include this cool Starbucks leaf shaped gift card along with it so I created this cute tag complete with a clear pocket.

The base of the tag was die cut from kraft card stock and I used up my scraps of Echo Park Fall paper to give it some color in the background.  The gift card holder was simply cut from clear acetate and shows off the pretty gift card. I adhered that to the tag and then layered a sweet Fall acorn over it.

The final accent to the tag was this adorable plush fox! After stuffing and sewing it together, I added in some stamped  felt leaves around his neck and colored in his ears with a permanent marker. Super cute and really dresses up this package!
