For my Retro creation, I decided to travel back to the far out era of the 1970's when bright colors, glitter and mixing patterns and colors were in vogue. This boho-disco card features some groovy background textures using the 'Flourish Fun 1' and 'Backgrounds Cling' stamp sets. I added in a colorful sunburst pattern and layered that with some hippie flowers from the 'Flower Power' stamp set- very fitting! For additional texture, I added in my own mini disco balls with the metal gems. I added a simple thank you sentiment but this card is versatile for any occasion.
The inside shows off more of the gorgeous flourishes and beautiful flowers and of course I had to add in more 'disco' balls and rhinestones for that 70's feel! I added another color blocked background in bright, funky colors too!
Hope you enjoyed our 'Retro' themed blog hop! Make sure you visit all of the designers and then head back to The Aviary and leave a comment. Your next stop on the hop is
