Hi everyone! I'm back again with another monthly installment of my mini scrapbook series! Basic Grey was one of my absolute favorite paper companies ever! There were some actual tears when they decided to not design paper collections anymore and move on to other things. But, I did hang onto a few things (hoarder!) that I couldn't pass up using and this beautiful little mini scrapbook is the result!
I have combined a couple of older Basic Grey collections for this mini since they were all getting out of date and you know, there are always lots of new pretties on the market to buy! I am trying to use up ALL of the supplies in my craft room so I used the Kelly Purkey 'Mon Ami' 6x6 paper pad along with it's matching stickers combined with the 'Capture' Snippets and photo frames. I also threw in a couple of 'Vivienne' laser wood cut stickers too! This sweet mini will be my final homage to the great Basic Grey!
The basis of the mini is a stitched tag die cut used to create all of the pages. There are 5 double sided pages in all including the front cover and back. I also included a glassine envelope that hold a double sided tag for even more mementos! I had such a good time putting all of the pieces together and layering all of the fabulous ephemera. This will be a perfect mini for a best friend! Take a look for yourself......
This is the front of the glassine envelope that holds a two sided tag! Super cute!
And this is the back of the envelope!
An interactive page here! The floral banner flips up to reveal another page!
These Basic Grey collections may be past their prime but they are still adorable and will always hold a special place in my heart!
Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!!
