Confetti Congrats!

Hi everyone! I am loving this new background stamp, Seeing Spots, from The Alley Way Stamps! It's large enough to cover an A2 card in one fell swoop and who doesn't love polka dots! They are always happy!

I used the stamp to create a fun congrats card complete with happy confetti! I removed the red ink from some of the larger dots in the image so I could add in accents of silver for a bit of elegance! I used the large dot image from another new set, Pick One, to add the confetti spots back in. The large Congrats is from Big Chatter and I added in a shadow image too!

More confetti in red and silver on the inside along with a happy sentiment from the Wish Big set! A fun card for a fun time!

Bloom!

Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a fab summer! I just recently returned from a trip to New York City and Switzerland where we had a wonderful time! Switzerland gets a lot more rain (usually!) than we do here in Colorado,  so there are bunches and bunches of gorgeous flowers everywhere! Those flowers were the inspiration for this card covered in the beautiful blooms from the new stamp set Pick One from The Alley Way Stamps!

These new images are now available at the TAWS store and if you love floral sets then you should definitely add this set to your stamp collection! Lots of different size flowers, leaves and accents that you can combine or use alone. There is also an SVG file too! I opted for a softer look and layered the blooms in pastel colors across the top and bottom of the front panel. I stamped in a few of the polka dot accents and topped it off with a tag accented with some of the images cut with the SVG file! A pretty purple bow is the finishing touch.

More beautiful flowers layered on the inside too! I left lots of white space to add in a sweet sentiment or a personal message. Go and check out this set and the other new releases available now at The Alley Way Stamps!

Be Inspired Again #54

Hi everyone! I just can't help myself! I have another card to share created with the oh so adorable images in the Mrs. Rogers Neighborhood stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps! Plus, there are still two weeks left in the Be Inspired Challenge #54 so this was a great opportunity to combine the two!

I used the softness of the BIC photo as my inspiration. Love the pastel colors (which I don't normally do) mixed with those delicate florals and polka dots. I created a sweet scene using just a few of the stamps in this super cute set along with some patterned paper in soft colors that mimic the patterns found in the inspiration photo. I brought out the pink with a simple strand of pink ribbon.

More of the patterned paper on the inside along with a heartfelt sentiment and some of the cutest little flowers ever! Perfect for those important people in your life that are far away! Enjoy your 4th of July holiday!

Welcome Home!

Hi everyone! Have you seen the charming and adorable new stamp set, Mrs. Rogers Neighborhood, by The Alley Way Stamps? It is full of cute houses and tiny accessories to go along with them!

I decided to take some of that cuteness and put it into a welcome home card! I opted for one of my favorite color combos of red and black and made a sweet little grouping of trees and a happy home! A washi tape background gives it a bit of quirk and I added in a cute tag complete with a twine accent!

Another view of the happy home on the inside with one more lovely tree. The sweet sentiment is also from this adorable set too! Check out all of the new July release stamp sets over at The Alley Way Stamps!

The Alley Way Stamps July Release Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Today is the day! It is the fabulous TAWS blog hop to show off all of the new stamps for July! One lucky reader will win the ENTIRE release so be sure and comment as many times as you can!

When I saw the Seeing Spots background stamp for the first time, I immediately thought of confetti! Confetti is always bright and fun and happy and if you know me, I'm all about happy! So I created a party card with this awesome new stamp in the spirit of confetti! I used bright distress inks (is that an oxymoron?) and to make it even more interesting cut the background into strips and adhered them at different levels on the card front!

I also cut the edge of the card to match the strips and added in a super fun sentiment from the Spell Check set! Lots of bright colored twine adds to the party feel too!

I added more spots on the bottom edge of the inside so they can be seen from the front when the card is closed! I also stamped a happy sentiment which is my daily mantra! All of the fab TAWS designers are below and you must check out what they have created for the is wonderful blog hop!
