Coffee {Cozy} Anyone!

Hi all!  My craft room is feeling very neglected these days... our new puppy, Django, is taking up ALL of my free time so I feel lucky to get a few posts in here and there.  I know it's only temporary and believe me, his cuteness makes it all worthwhile:)

Today I have a super easy and very adorable gift idea for the coffee or tea lovers in your life.  I used a few different charming stamp sets from Raisin Boat to create these cup sleeves that also double as gift card holders. Perfect for this time of year!

First up is this adorable elf from the 'Elves Are Watching' stamp set.  I knew he would look so cute peeking over a gift card.  I stamped him on Raisin Boat card stock and then cut him out and attached him to another rectangle piece of card stock making sure to leave his hands free to hold the gift card.

I cut a small notch at the other end of the rectangle piece to hold the gift card and covered it with the sweet little gifts from the 'Elf Express' stamp set.I attached a tiny jingle bell to his hat and added some twinkling Christmas lights sparkled up with red and white pearl pens.  This gift is certainly Elf-Approved!

The next cup cozy is a bit more elegant and uses the gorgeous 'Holiday Hang Ups' set. I double stamped the pine bough in Memento Ink Pear tart and Olive Grove for some dimension and then stamped the beautiful ornaments in festive holiday red and greens.

I created the gift card holder by taking a piece of the 'Ivory Coast' card stock, folding it into the appropriate dimensions (using the gift card as a guide) and then used a circle die-namic for the circular cut-out at the top. I decorated the gift card holder with the same stamp set and used lots of Stickles glitter, a gold pearl pen and Kaisercraft gems to add some sparkle. A simple yet generous and beautiful gift for the special people in your life!
