Hi
everyone! Today I am sharing the card I created for my Dad for this Father's
Day. We will actually be celebrating his special day tomorrow, Saturday,
because he is golfing on Sunday. My Dad is a really good golfer and goes
every chance he gets and of course as it is his day he can do whatever he
wants:)
For
this card I used the "Mighty" designer paper from the
Authentique 'Strong' collection. It features a crossword puzzle print which is
perfect for my dad and I knew he would appreciate it. I also used the
coordinating die cut paper accents and I think they say all the right things
about him:) I die cut chevrons for a more interesting background and then
layered lots of fishtail banners, wood pieces and metal accents.
This
little sentiment is the whole reason I fell in love with this collection. It
reminds me so much of my childhood.
The
inside of the card with more chevrons and metal accents. I just had to
add in some of these male figures from Maya Road because I think they are so
cute!
Thanks
for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!!
