Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing a card and goodie bag I made for some very sweet nurses that have taken excellent care of me over the last twelve weeks.
They helped make each of my weekly visits a bit less dreaded with their kindness and efficiency. The least I could do is give them a special thank you and some sweet treats to put a smile on their faces. This is my shout out to all of the lovely ladies on the 4th floor at Swedish Hospital :)
For the card I used the gorgeous 'On Trend' collection from Crate Paper (definitely one of my faves!) and created a background of happy little hexagons. I added a doily, a bit of ribbon and a beautiful fluttering butterfly from the collection. The sentiment is from the new Papertrey Ink 'Side by Side sentiments stamp set and it expressed my gratitude perfectly.
The bag was also created from the same Crate Paper collection. Love the snow leopard print and the hot pink together! I added more happy hexagons, ribbon and another sweet sentiment. I filled the bag with some big, delicious cookies and delivered them yesterday to celebrate my last treatment!! Smiles all around!
The inside of the card with more of this pretty paper and a bit of bling. Of course I had to write a special message to these ladies for all of their generous care, kindness and great conversation!
Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!!
