Thanks so much for joining us. Enjoy the hop!
I love the ocean and have made a promise to myself to live by one someday. It is by far my favorite travel destination and so I decided to create a send-off card perfect for someone headed to a tropical destination!
I wanted to create a fun and interactive card so I started with an easel card base and then decided to also make it a shaker card! I started with a bright yellow chevron background and added a double stamped and glittery sun from 'Earth and Sky' in bright orange and yellow. I also created "waves" using flourishes from 'Flourish Fun 1' and sparkly embossing powder and gave this card a beachy feel by adding in some gold paillettes for the sand.
Details of the sun.....
and the beach.....
Gorgeous hibiscus flowers cut from the flower border of 'Kind Words' trellis up the side of the card and hold a happy day flag because that is how I feel when I am at the beach!
Of course I had to add in flip flops because they are required ocean attire! The sentiment was printed on the card stock and more of the bright hibiscus were added. Now I am off to dream about my next ocean vacation......
Please be sure to visit the other designers on the hop since I know they will have fantastic creations to show you!
Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!!
