Rosie Posie Birthday Cards!

Hi everyone!  Today's post is all about one of my new favorite stamp sets, the Rosie Posie two step stamps from Papertrey Ink.  These sets have not been off of my crafting space for any long length of time and they probably won't be for a while.

I have created two birthday cards each featuring a different flower from the set.  The first card I made for my son's girlfriend in happy shades of red and pink and I used the small and large posie flower stamps and coordinating dies.  I also added in a wrought iron background and a big, bright flourish.  The finishing touches are some cheery red ribbon and a Martha Stewart doily border punch.

The inside of the card and a sweet birthday sentiment for a beautiful girl.

The second card, made for my dear mother-in-law, showcases the gorgeous rose from the stamp set.  More big flourishes, scalloped borders and some bold butterflies add to the beauty.  There are also some small liquid pearls and twine in gold.

I kept the inside of this card clean and simple with a small rose and bold sentiment.

Hope you enjoyed the Rosie Posie show!  All of the additional stamps I used are listed below.

Thanks for checking out my blog!  Bee Happy!!
