'Faith' Note Cards!

Hi everyone! The Simple Stories 'Faith' paper collection is definitely one of my favorites! I am a sucker for cute florals and sweet words and this collection is loaded with them! I recently created a mini accordion book with this collection and had lots of the adorable paper left to make the sweetest note card set!

I picked out some of my favorites from the 'Bits & Pieces', chipboard and stickers and then decided on some solid color card stock to complement them! Each card has it's own special details and it was so much fun putting them all together! I used the gorgeous papers, which are stunning on both sides,  to make a matching envelope for each card too for an even more beautiful set!

These cards measure 3 1/2" x4 7/8" which is plenty of room to show off each design! A sweet jar of flowers, a delicate butterfly and lots of hearts for this card!

I just adore these super cute light bulbs! A few extra pieces of patterned paper and a chipboard sticker make this card extra charming! The feathers on the inside of the envelope are awesome too!

A  pretty bird and lots of flowers make this card bright! I added dimension with some chipboard flowers too! I matched the papers for the envelopes to the cards!

A trio of potted succulents will put a smile on any recipients face! Each pot has a tiny enamel dot for embellishment!

To keep all of these cards together, I took one piece of paper, cut it long enough to enclose all of the cards and gave it a fancy edge! I added in tiny grommets and tied the whole thing closed with some cheery yellow ribbon. The final touch is a pretty tag with more of those lovely flowers!

Heart Of Flowers!

Hi everyone! Hope you'll had a wonderful Mother's Day! I know I did- I am celebrating in Florence, Italy! I am missing my kids but I'll take the trade-off!

This is the beautiful Mother's Day card I made for my mom! I am posting it a day late but otherwise she would have seen it before she opened it and that's no fun! The watercolor background was made for an earlier Color Throwdown challenge but I wasn't really feeling it at the time and just put it away for a later use. It works beautifully with this stunning flower filled heart!

I die cut the Heart of Flowers first but felt it needed more definition so I used a larger heart die to give me the finished heart shape. I layered this over the watercolor background which was lightly misted with some gold Perfect Pearls!

I added in more gold with the large 'Love' sentiment and then stacked everything onto some perfectly matching purply-magenta card stock! I didn't have this sentiment in a stamp (or at least I couldn't find it!) so I printed it from my computer in a pretty scrip font. I fussy cut around it and layered it over the pretty heart.

I gave the corners a bit of detail and added in some sparkly gold ribbon before adhering it to a white square card base! The final detail are some shiny gold gems for the centers of the flowers. I tok the die cut pieces from one of the smaller blooms and put them together for the center of the gold bow.

It's a beautiful card for the beautiful woman that means the world to me! I know it will bring a smile to her face when she opens it!

Grad Gift Set!

Hi everyone! Graduation gifts are always appreciated and a well wrapped gift is even better! I recently made a graduation card and had some of the awesome patterned paper left, so I used it to wrap a small gift for a super cute set!

The Simple Stories 'Grad' paper collection has great journaling cards that say the best things! I used one for the front of this graduation card and layered it over the fab patterned paper to create a really eye-catching design! I also fussy cut a gold cap from the collection and popped it off the front for added effect. A few stickers and some shiny gold stars are the final touches!

The inside of the card is all done up in the patterned papers and stickers so I had to show a pic of it too! I cut some simple banners and layered those with a perfect sentiment for the special day and added in some star stickers for shine!

For the gift box, I used a few different collection papers that I had left over. I also had some remaining stickers that highlight the momentous occasion, so I added those to the front of the box and even made a small banner for the top! This sweet set will make any grad happy!
