On to other things!

Woo hoo.  These are the last of my Mothers Day cards!  I cut it a little close since I do still have to mail most of these but they will arrive on time.  The first card is for my wonderful Grandma.  She is such a spunky lady.  She recently fell and broke her hip but is already out of the hospital and in physical therapy.  No small feat when you are 93 years old.  Not only do I love her, I admire her greatly.

The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found 'Sunshine' Collection.  I found this sentiment online and decided it was perfect for my Grandma. I printed it and the tag on Bazzil cream cardstock.  The tag die is from Stampin Up and the label die is from Verve.  I also used some fishtail stax from MFT and added lots of bling including a jeweled brad from Theresa Collins, rose cabochons from Pretty Lovelies at Etsy.com, Prima and Crystal Stickers gems and pearls. The cream cabbage ribbon is from Prairie Bird Boutique at Etsy.com

The buttons actually came from my Grandmas mother (my great grandma) and have been handed down through the generations.  Finally, someone is putting them to good use!

For the inside I used some more of the Lost and Found paper; the 'adore' label is part of the designer paper! I also added some more fishtail stax- love those!

The second card is for my stepmother.  I adore her for always taking such good care of my Dad.  The designer papers I used for this one are Basic Grey 'Sweet Threads'  So much cute paper out there...so little time:)

The cardstock and background papers are Bazzil and the butterfly and labels were all cut with my Cricut.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up. I did use some MFT dies for this card and they are the Fancy Flourish and the Royal Rose.  Again, I had to add some bling- this time with liquid pearls, Hero Arts gems and more cabbage ribbon from Prairie Bird Boutique.

I kept the inside to the basics- designer paper and a few more gems.  In case you hadn't noticed,  I always leave space to write a personal message to my recipient.  I can always find nice and wonderful things to write about them:)

Thanks for checking out my blog!
