Love is patient

Hi everyone.  The challenge this month at Unity Stamp Co. is to create a project for a wedding, in a wedding or even wedding themed using Unity Stamps!  With it being summer and the busiest wedding season of the year I thought I would take this opportunity to join the challenge and have a wedding card ready for the next lucky couple!

The cover of my wedding card features stamps from the January 2012 Kit of the Month 'Heart and Soul.'  I stamped the background in Versa Mark ink for some subtle color and then used my Martha Stewart Scoreboard to score diagonal lines across the cardstock for a quilt-like look.  I love my Scoreboard and I don't use it nearly enough but it is so easy to create beautiful and interesting patterns on paper with it. I added pearls at all of the junctions and stamped the butterflies in Memento 'Cantaloupe' for a bit more color.  The gold ribbon actually came off a package I received in the mail a few days ago!

The inside features a Unity stamp from the February 2011 Kit of the Month 'The best is yet to be' stamped on a Verve die.  I used the same background and butterfly stamps and just reversed the colors.  I added more pearls of course because I think they are perfect for wedding cards.

Thanks for checking out my blog!

  2. I agree with Rachel. These do look super classy. I love the scripture too, and having 'the best is yet to be' on the inside really speaks volumes... it's like, our love is good now, but wait and see how much better it will become with time.

    Very nice!
