Smooshing Away...

Hi everyone! Here today with the very technical post of smooshing ink for your project! I love all watercolor techniques but don't do them nearly enough. This one is super easy and smooshing gives you unpredictable but fantastic results!

This is the actual challenge this week over at Papertrey Ink so I decided to get a little messy and have some fun! I really need to have more masculine cards in my stash so for this card I kept the watercolors a boyish blue and green with a bit of gray thrown in. The ink was concentrated at the corners so I could have these fun layers in the center!

I used a couple of different stamp sets for the background and then added in some fun die cuts, washi tape and a tiny banner. Candy dots finish it all up!

For the inside, I just repeated the same background stamp and added in a birthday sentiment, another strip of washi and more fun candy dots! Perfect for the boys in my life!

Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!!

Supplies Used:
Bazaar card stock
We R Memory Keepers washi tape
Prima Sugardots and Doodlebug Design Sprinkles
