Hi everyone! I was playing around with some blended backgrounds and created a couple of different ones. This card, with one of the blended backgrounds, was featured on my blog yesterday and I had one left over that I had not finished yet. I had put the starburst pattern into it and set it aside. Lo and behold, the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge #214 is stamping with neutrals and I knew this background would be perfect!
I added in some writing into the starburst in a soft neutral along with some very faint polka dots. The leaves were stamped over that pattern and overlayed with some gorgeous blooms also in soft colors. Each sports a pretty brad in the center and they are popped off the background a bit. The edges of the watercolor paper were deckled with some decorative scissors and stacked with some kraft card stock. So pretty!
I carried the kraft over to the inside and added a few more soft flowers and leaves. The sentiment is from the PTI stamp set Inside and Out:Birthday and has the best birthday wishes! I have a lot of birthdays in June so this will definitely come in handy!
Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!
