Hi everyone! My birthday was a couple of months ago and in honor of it (and because I buy so much there!) I received this cute little stamp set from Simon Says Stamp! I am always in need of increasing my birthday card stash so I created a couple of cards featuring the adorable elephant in the set!
Since I had the set out it was just as easy to create two cards- one for a boy and one for a girl! I cut all of my card stock to size and just stamped in different colors keeping the design essentially the same. There are some shimmering embossed stars on the backgrounds too!
After ink blending the sweet elephants in shades of gray, I added in details with Copic markers. For the boy, of course I chose shades of blues and added in a bit of orange! There is actually a pom pom on the top of the hat but I cut it off and added a bright candy dot.
Shades of red for the girly card along with a touch of yellow! I added in another candy dot and drew in the balloon strings!
Now I have two more cute and colorful cards to add to that stash! I am entering these cards into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Trio of Colors!
Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy!!
