Friendly Little greeting

Hi everyone!  Todays Halloween project is a vintage inspired easel card featuring sweet little pumpkins and curly toed witch boots.

I finally inked up these delightful images from the 'Friendship Jar Fall Fillers' set from Papertrey Ink!  I love the whole friendship Jar collection- it is sweet and versatile.  I also took this opportunity to use my 'Glowing' 6x6 paper pad from Authentique that I purchased last year! Pefect colors and images for giving this card a vintage feel.  I distressed all of the edges and then inked them with distress ink from Ranger and used their distress markers to color in these images.

I added a few tags cut with the  Papertrey Ink 'Tiny Tags' die and stamped with sentiments from the Fall Fillers set.  Since you can only see one in the pictures, I added some close ups of the others.  One is a spooky little ghost and the other a spooky sentiment!

The greeting used for this card is an oldie but a (very favorite) goodie!  It is from the DOTS stamp company that is no longer around but I can't resist using it because it is so sweet. The cabbage ribbon is from PrairieBird Boutique at Etsy.com and the green rock candy pick is from Prima.  I glittered the images with a Gelly Roll pen, some Stickles glitter and of course my favorite bling, gems.

Thanks for checking out my blog!  Bee happy!

  2. What a fabulous card Tara. So colorful and the details are amazing! Love the boots and sentiment. And actually DOTS is still around, they're Close to my Heart and have been for probably 12 or 13 years. I was introduced to stamping by going to a DOTS party.
