Then Head back to the Paper Wings Production blog The Aviary, and leave a comment!

My daughter was home for Christmas and brought this beautiful red chevron paper with her from Anthroplogie and I knew it would be perfect for my first creation for Paper Wings Productions. I used a beautiful friendship sentiment from the 'Kind Words' cling stamp set along with a few of the charming images from the 'Details Framers' set. I combined some soft, vintage style 'Attic Treasures' paper  from Melissa Frances with lovely lime velvet ribbon and added a heart stickpin by Creative Paper Trail at Etsy.com.

A close up of the hand cut tag stamped with some barely there images and a die cut flower created with the same chevron paper and vellum.

The inside uses more of this paper combo and I added another sweet die cut flower.  It is just waiting for a personal message from me to one of the dear people in my life.  Having this 'Friendship' theme reminds me of a cross-stitched saying at my Grandmas house that read:  Make new friends but keep the old; one is silver and the other is gold.  I think of this saying often as new people come into my life and I hope that I am lucky enough to call all of them friends.  Happy New Year!
