Masquerade anything?

Halloween is definitely the best time for dress up but if you aren't going to a wild Halloween party this year why not dress up something else!?

I needed a container for the light up branches that I bought and used for Halloween last year and this old galvanized vase from my stash fit the bill perfectly!  A new coat of designer paper and some fancy embellishments gave this plain vase a new life as Halloween decor!

All of the designer paper is from the Theresa Collins Halloween line 'Masquerade Party'. I simply cut strips, some with decorative edges, and layered them together around the vase.  There is a strand of orangy gold sequins hiding in there and of course the show stopper is the wide band of sequins in the center!

I then took lots of the die cut pieces which included frames and banner shapes and layered those interestingly over the gorgeous TC designer paper.  A few strands of curled ribbon, a striking brad and one large bold bow and I had a beautiful new holder for my lighted branches! Spooky and gorgeous if I say so myself!

Thanks for checking out my blog! Bee Happy

Supplies:  Theresa Collins 'Masquerade Party' 6x6 pad; die-cut accessories; decorative brads, Raisin Boat ribbon: orange, Simon Say Stamp ribbon: black and white, edge punches: Stampin up, EK Success, large sequin band: Caramelos Shop @Etsy.com, stash: black and gold ribbon, gold sequin strand.
