Hello There!

Hi everyone! The second week of Summer Card Camp 2 brought a brand new color combo and more amazing techniques.
To me this color combo is very soothing with its cool shades and I kept the first card fairly simple by stamping directly onto my card front and then adding bits and layers to it. The Pretty Poppies from My Favorite Things stand out nicely against the delightful papers from Melissa Frances and Crate Paper.
I added some small circles covered with Rain Dots for added dimension and a simple die cut leaf.
The inside has the same uncomplicated yet striking details.

The next card features one of my favorite techniques- embossing.  Of course, this technique is not new or innovative but I learned to add dimension to a colored stamped image by adding clear embossing powder.
Again, simple yet very striking and so much easier than trying to emboss different colors onto the same image which is very complicated and messy!  I used a multi step stamp from Papertrey Ink which makes the whole stamping process very easy yet gorgeous.
No embossing on the inside; just some sweet polka dots and a pretty little border.

Thanks for checking out my blog!  Bee Happy!!
